Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for Cloud RDP
Effective Date: April 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the "Cloud RDP: Remote Desktop" app ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We respect your privacy. Our app does not require you to create an account, nor do we collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
2. Local Data Storage
The app saves your virtual points, reward limits, and Remote Desktop Session data (such as server names and PIN codes) locally on your device using SharedPreferences. This data is cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) to prevent tampering. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our personal servers.
3. Third-Party Services & APIs
To function correctly, our app interacts with the following third-party services, which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display rewarded advertisements. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), and other tracking technologies to deliver personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your Android Device Settings.
GitHub Actions API: The app communicates securely with external GitHub repositories to trigger the deployment of your Cloud PC environments. Only the Auth Codes and PINs you provide in the app are transmitted securely via HTTPS to initialize the environment.
4. AdBlockers and VPNs
To maintain our free reward economy, the app checks your network connectivity (via DNS lookups) to ensure access to ad networks (e.g., googleads.g.doubleclick.net). If an adblocker or restricted DNS is detected, the app will ask you to disable it to proceed. We do not track your browsing history or network traffic.
5. Data Security
We value your trust in providing your information. We use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, including HTTPS transmission and local encryption. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
